Is this tribe still kickin'? It's a fantastic premise and lord knows, I can't seem to manage my friends to go to some of the screenings I want to see. I'd be up for helping organize a jumpstart, if anyone's interested.

Mon, January 22, 2007 - 7:29 PMAll the more reason to get a gang of smart, literate, well-behaved cinegeeks together to fill the room and keep the 'tards out.
Face it, you're losing this argument. ;)

Sun, January 28, 2007 - 4:10 PMSpeaking of tards... I went to the santa barbara film festival last night, and I was looking forward to a screening where people DON'T TALK. Sigh. Not even at the film festival do people shut the fuck up.
But other than that... I saw Severance - a british film that's a funny and gruesome mix of Battle Royale and Office Space. A bunch of people on a "team building" work holiday being hunted by psychos in the eastern european woods. Very good.

Re: *feels for a pulse*
Tue, February 27, 2007 - 4:36 PMI was a member of this Tribe, left and now I'm back to say that I'd LOVE to go out to see some interesting films.
For anyone who's interested, let's take a look, see what's out there, and then start suggesting dates and times.
As for me, I'm currently working Mon-Thurs 8am-7pm, and would be up for something to start after that or else possibly on a weekend when I'm in town.
